The Beginning
GoldQuill is a home based publishing company. Founded by Daniel Miller, Michelle Wysocki and with the support of many friends and family.
The Creative Process
Having 4 children we are constantly trying to find new books. It's always a challenge to find quality books. Books that include more than just an entertaining story. Here at the GoldQuill Publishing house and home, we try and identify missing characteristics in books that we would like to see, such as character building or learning some fun fact about the subject in the story. We take those aspects and include them in our books. We base our products on what we see our children enjoy and create unique books and products which we cannot find anywhere else on the market. All our books have an inspirational, character building and educational value to them.
The next step is testing the market. There's no better test than having the end user, the children, tell you what they think about a book. They are the best market testers you will ever find. Their simple honesty leaves no room for second guessing. A good indicator is when they ask to hear the same story over and over again, then you know you've got a winner. Those are the books we choose to publish because we know other children will love them too.
